Despite the fact that Nigo and A Bathing Ape for long have been copying Adidas for their own shoebrand Bapesta, they now get the chance to remix the original material and create the Adidas Super Bape Star. Winter 2010 by Kazuki Kuraishi
Japan-based designer Kazuki Kuraishi has been working with Adidas for almost 5 years and he has contributed a lot especially with Adidas’ Originals by Originals line. His latest collaborations with Adidas include this new Adidas Originals by Originals Gipfel.
Kazuki Kuraishi’s ObyO Gipfel is actually part of Adidas’ Fall/Winter Collection and is especially designed to provide warmth during these icy seasons. The Adidas ObyO Gipfel is basically a Torsion Bank Shot sneaker which they integrated with a boot’s toughness. Its upper is chiefly made up of nubuck leather which they mixed up with mesh and premium leather. The upper of this Adidas ObyO Gipfel is also highlighted in beige and is accentuated with brown tints on the leather paneling. Other accents are found on the cardinal red tongue pull tab and gold Gipfel label on the side panels. Setting the stage for this upper are the tough-looking white midsole and black outsole.
Adidas has not yet announced any exact release date for this Originals by Originals Kazuki Kuraishi Gipfel but let’s expect this to come soon since it’s already fall and winter’s waiting around the corner.
